Tackle Review:  P-Line Floroclear Finshing Line
Type of Fishing:  Lake and Stream - SM Bass, Trout, Crappie, Pan Fish
Reel:  Spinning
Water:  Freshwater
Manufactor Website:  http://www.p-line.com/

http://www.p-line.com/product_detail.php?id=101

I used this line some of last year and the start of this year in various lakes and streams going after smallmouth bass, trout and panfish.  Used 4 lb clear.

Pros:
Strong
Good knots - I use Palomar knots
Hard to see in water with 4lbs.

Cons:
None that I can say

Conclusion:
2 Thumbs up!!

Comments:
Have not had a lure get away under suspicious circumstances yet with this line.  And that is even with purposefully abusing the line - not retying when obvious wear/kinks were present - just to see how far I could push it.  Used this line a lot up in Spring Creek in State College last year and that water is crystal clear.  Did well on trout after I got my act together with methods.  Used to put on a floro leader but no more with this line in 4lbs.  Just got me and my son ULs this year and put this on both reels.  Casts great on both!  Would definitely recommend checking it out!!!

What does it run? Florocarbon is typically pricey. However, in finesse situations it can be well worth its dollar amount!

Well, it's not a pure Fluorocarbon line, so not priced at that level.  It's just coated with fluorocarbon.    I don't buy spools, I just take down to SW (closing now - bummer) and pay 2 cents/yard to have spooled up.  So only $2-3 for my reel and all done while I do some shopping/browsing.  Bummer their closing though...  Now need BPS to go in there...
